Great book chalked FULL of the latest information regarding gut health/inflammation and how it all ties in to so many modern day illnesses and ailments. I enjoyed reading about her clients complaints and the treatments she prescribed to help them heal.

Dr Laura Brown has out done herself with her masterpiece examining the balance of the art and science of all things digestive-related. She uses easy to understand language and breaks down complicated concepts showing how everything is connected in the human body and begins in the gut. Highly recommend this book for anyone who is interested in understanding their digestive health better, whether experiencing health concerns or not.

Dr. Browns book is super informative for anyone wanting to learn more about nutrition and how it affects the digestive system. Her way of writing is easy to understand but yet still being scientific enough for you to learn. Although I don’t suffer from any digestive issues myself, I’m always wanting to learn more about the way our body is and how to fuel it with nutritious things. Her holistic approach to wellness is something I greatly admire and try to incorporate into my own life.

Dr. Brown’s book is an excellent resource to understanding digestive health and embarking on a journey towards a healthy lifestyle. She does an incredible job at sharing her vast knowledge and expertise in an easy-to-digest (no pun intended!) manner by taking us through the journey of real-life individuals, making it relatable, approachable and comprehensive. While I don’t suffer from any digestive issues (that I know of), it has shifted my mindset to enable myself to take a healthier approach to how I manage my food, sleep and stress. It’s a fantastic resource to have on the shelf or bedside table to reference!
